What is Local AI?
With Local AI, you use your own language model (LLM) on an AI server that Daropa.solutions hosts for you in the European Union. It works similarly to ChatGPT or Copilot, but your questions, texts, and documents never go to OpenAI, Microsoft, or any other party outside the EU.
What can you do with it?
- Your data stays in the EUAll AI processing takes place on Daropa’s servers in the European Union, in accordance with European privacy regulations (GDPR). Nothing is sent to AI services outside the EU.

Frequently asked questions
Is it as good as ChatGPT?
For most everyday tasks, such as summarising, rewriting, and translating, open models work excellently. For highly complex questions, a large commercial model may sometimes perform better, but then your data often goes to a party outside the EU.
Do I need special hardware?
No. Local AI runs on Daropa’s AI server in the EU, so you don’t need to purchase any hardware yourself. If you want an AI server at your own office or workplace, take a look at Local RAG (watch the video).
