Local RAG (AI on your own documents) explained
The AI reads your own documents and answers questions about them, with source references. In this short video, you’ll see what Local RAG does in the Daropa Workplace, with a Dutch voice-over and subtitles in Dutch or English.
What is explained?
This is Local RAG. The AI reads your own documents and answers questions about them, with source references. With Local RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), the AI reads your own documents: manuals, procedures, contracts and files.
Then you simply ask a question, such as “What is our notice period for suppliers?”, and you receive an answer with a reference to the source files. Everything stays within your environment. Answers from your own documents.
The AI searches your files and provides an answer based on what’s in them. Source references. With every answer, you see which documents the information comes from.
Respects permissions. Each user only receives answers from documents they have access to. Want to see how Local RAG works?
